Alumni Donor Scheme
OUISoc strives to organize a host of different activities, services, and events to engage and bring together the Muslim community in Oxford. We rely completely on generous donations to help run the day-to-day operations of the society.
As you leave Oxford, we ask you consider joining us as an Alumni Donor, to pay it forward and support the Muslim community in Oxford. Every penny will go a long way in helping Muslim students achieve their full academic and spiritual potential while fostering a sense of community in the University and local community.
Where the donations go
The Alumni Donor Scheme is a project to aid the OUISoc in funding events and programs for our current students, Alumni and prospective students. Most donations will go to funding our regular events, including the following:
Religious Education and Islamic Awareness programmes
Welfare and Social events
Ramadan
Access Work
Freshers’ Week
Engagement with the wider community
To give a more detailed outline of where our donations go, we will be sending out termly financial reports to all donors, with the first report due to be sent out shortly.
How to sign up
Each month, your donation will be automatically deducted from your account. You are free to donate any amount you are comfortable with, ranging from £3, £5, or £10. If you would like to donate a different amount monthly, please contact us.
As a small token of our appreciation, alumni donors can look forward to a suite of benefits, including a copy of the OUISoc magazine every term (UK residents only) and early access to certain events, such as the much-anticipated Alumni Dinner!
All OUISoc members who graduate remain warmly welcomed to all our events.
